Гораздо труднее увидеть проблему, чем найти ее решение. Для первого требуется воображение, а для первого только умение. (Джон Бернал)

UniWar tournaments rules of conduct

UniWar community members play multitude of turns in thousands of matches every day. There are almost three millions of matches completed, each of them a small event for few players. But sometimes a flow of common playing days is interrupted with high days of UniWar tournaments which become important events for many of UniWar players. Such events become a part of UniWar history and names of their winners are on everyone’s lips for long past their completion.

UniWar is a deep strategy game, a quintessence of chess and StarCraft. Regular holding of tournaments proves it to be more than a game even, a real cyber sport!

Tournaments become more often recently, prizes become more valuable and number of participants increases with every event. Holding a tournament with as many as 128 participants is planned soon and that is not a limit. Because of this it is necessary to formulate some basic tournament rules of conduct.

1. Each participant should learn by heart that tournament is first and foremost a festival of UniWar where participation is more important than a victory. Tournaments give us chance to talk to interesting players during exciting matches while having loads of fun. Having fun is the main purpose of every tournament.

2. So each tournament is a festival and it is important to be as friendly, polite and respectful as possible to every participant and opponents especially to not spoil it. If you have lost – please congratulate your competitor with his victory as he indeed deserves it!

3. For event organizers each tournament also involves a lot of effort. Let’s all respect this effort and help them by taking time to CAREFULLY read tournament rules (please only ask questions if they are not already answered there) and by following them, that including playing your turns in such time frames as set by tournament rules.

As a conclusion we would like to wish all UniWar players best of luck on all their endeavors! Join the tournaments, get an invaluable experience and one day you will SURELY become a winner!
